Great improvement in ergonomics, you must admit.  Repetitive Stress Injuries are caused by improper posture, lack of padding.

I had trouble categorizing this one, so I went for the bugman thread.

For the life of me, I can't fathom this mindset. It seems to go against every instinct of self-preservation and group survival. How is it not a mental illness?

His last point is interesting: He cares about his physical descendants being prosperous -- strands of his DNA surviving -- but not about language, culture, customs and other marks of group identity. This reeks of *beep boop* spergery, something that an atomized autistic or a robot would say.

We're really f**ked as a society when we end up with a portion of the population thinking like this.

He doesn't have anything to transfer beyond his DNA. Over 30 years of the Culture Wars has produced two generations devoid of any significant culture beyond corporate attachments and a militant fixation on not offending the cultural sensibilities of non-Whites. It's easy for a bugman to only care about passing on his prosperity when corporations and his fellow consumers are the only unifying "culture" he possesses. His language isn't his own, it belongs to the PC commissars. His religion isn't that of his forefathers, that was long neutered into something too void even for him to buy into. His holidays are not sacred days but Saturdays. His literature isn't the classics that gave his great-grandparents a sense of grandeur about their people, but the latest pop phenomenon to be forgotten in a month. His customs are based on the latest big corporate product release. What else does this bugman have beyond his debt-based iProsperity?

But it's not even close to true, the reality is much more simpler (and SCALE-tastic).  Amazon packaging members (shipping employees) work at individual stations, when certain sizes of boxes are depleted during their shifts, they are constrained by time-limits and quotas to use whatever other size boxes are left to package what product is next in the queue.

It's basic Supply Chain theory stuff, at no point does anyone in that tweet thread come close to a critique of Cost to Benefit analysis, Ergonomics or environmental impact.

If any of these (bug) people were actually interested in processes like these, instead of utilizing social media for self-esteem boosts, they would easily discover that each station is set up to package a certain set of sized products so that Ipods don't end up in TV boxes and vice versa. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a designated area for poster packaging or non-modular packing.

There is no "Master Tetris 7D Amazon Chess" shipping here, the boxes are all square/rectangular/modular, they all go into a rectangular shipping container/long box, they attempt to fill it capacity as best they can in a set certain amount before a pre-determined time when the truck leaves the facility.

That's not true at all, though, and pretty ridiculous if you think about it for a minute.  First off, humans are loading the trucks manually, not according to some AI's schematic.  Second, the whole thing would go awry after the first delivery creates spaces.  Finally, having received oversized boxes from Amazon, a lot of the time there isn't really anything in them keeping the individual product inside from sliding around.  It's just Amazon f**king up the box size.  This whole explanation came from some reddit thread where some guy was talking out of his surely gigantic ass.

This ludicrous pansy doesn't have actually any point to make here, he's just subtly alluding to the fact that he was in Germany for Christmas a few years ago. Just bugman status-signaling.

Mike Stuchberry is the worst poster on twitter, bar none. He's got the mental horsepower to memorize all the minutae of s**tlib fan fiction history (such as the all the fake African empires or the one dude from Northern the continent of dick washers documented to be in Roman London thus proving England has always been multi cultural), but his T is so low he will never function as a real human. If anyone is still left on Twitter and debates him, point out his habit of shoving his low T jawlet forward in twitter selfies to look slightly less like a fat f****t.

One thing I've noticed is that Amazon is aggressively fudging its two day delivery window, presumably by shuffling product between warehouses and not counting it "shipped" until everything is at the closest fulfillment center (this is probably not noticeable if you live near a large fulfillment center).  Order deadlines are being set as early as 12:00 AM for items three days prior to the two day delivery target.  It must be awful working for such a company.  Imagine the performance metric interrogation employees get during reviews.
