Figures revealed in October last year showed that children as young as four were among the 50 children a week being referred to gender reassignment specialists.
Dr Wren, a consultant psychologist at GIDS, part of the Tavistock and Portland Trust in London, said there were 'difficult treatment choices' to be made.
50 kids a week! Ok then. Seems like they've got a good little industry of make-work managerialism going on here.
Tavistock! Every single time...
Dr Wren said that schools were rushing to change pupils' uniforms, names and toilets as soon as pupils started questioning their identity.
At least 150 schools across the country have already adopted gender neutral uniform policies, with top private school Highgate School in North London among those to allow boys to wear skirts.
Priory School in Lewes, East Sussex, banned girls from wearing skirts in order to accommodate the growing number of transgender pupils.
The GIDS was founded in 1989 and offers counselling to children as young as three.
Mmmkay. So boys can wear skirts, but girls can't? I see what you did there. Not really gender neutral very much is it.
They are gasligthing and mind-f**king
And as for the GRIDS 'counselling' to 3 year olds. I have no words. But I do have some rope and empty milk bottles.
50 kids a week!
With one in ten of them 'changing their minds' and 'dropping out of the programme' and with all the damage that ensues, physically, psychologically and emotionally, not to mention socially as well.
"Didn't you want to be a girl Dave, when you were 3?" - "I was young, I was foolish..."
England will be easy to reconquer.
Can you please bloody hurry up?
I'll be the one with the Pink Carnation in my hair. This is a sign that you must not lock me up with all the rest. Then again, accidents happen...
